Issues in African Mission History (HIS614)

Course Description

A study of the expansion of Christianity in Africa dawning from the book of Acts of Apostles through its key phases. The course will also address the issues of the emergence of African initiatives in mission today, examining its beginnings , growth, policies, and challenges. Under the guidance of the department, student will have to design the course outline (of six topics), select an appropriate bibliography, and write a personal reflective paper of 25 pages related to the six selected topics. To validate the course, the paper will be marked by designated faculty member and the student will participate in Missiological Roundtable with the opportunity of presenting his or her reflective paper.
